Ahmed M. Quiyum serves as Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Oil Company Limited and Chairman of Global Oil Company Limited. He represents the second generation of a pioneering family in Bangladesh’s lubricant industry. His father, Mr. Mohammad Ullah, pioneered private lubricant blending in Bangladesh, establishing Pacific Oil Company Limited as the country’s first private lubricant blender. In 1999, Pacific Oil began its SINO journey in association with Alpha Pacific Petroleum (S) Pte Ltd, Singapore.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Nilai University, Malaysia, and a Master’s degree in Media and Communication from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Mr. Babu’s principal responsibilities include international sourcing, supply chain development, manufacturing oversight, and business development. He works with base oil refiners, additive manufacturers, raw-material suppliers, and technical partners across Asia and other major lubricant markets, with direct involvement in supplier development, commercial negotiations, sourcing evaluation, and procurement for the companies’ lubricant blending operations in Bangladesh.

His experience combines international sourcing, local manufacturing, and market development, providing a practical understanding of the lubricant business from raw-material procurement through production and distribution. His professional approach places particular emphasis on consistent product standards, responsible sourcing, technical credibility, fair value, and long-term business relationships.
